Haulmont is considering opening a back office in Uzbekistan
IT Park recently held a meeting with Maksim Vasiliev, the Executive Director of Haulmont, a leading IT company specializing in software development and IT services. Established in 2008, Haulmont focuses on creating platforms for business process automation and developing enterprise applications. Among their flagship products is the CUBA Platform, a powerful tool for rapid enterprise application development. With over 720 employees across four global offices, Haulmont boasts an annual turnover exceeding $50 million.
During the meeting, discussions centered on the potential for Haulmont to expand its presence in Uzbekistan by opening a new office. The company expressed strong interest in Uzbekistan's dynamic IT market and favorable business climate. Haulmont is particularly attracted to the possibility of earning revenue in foreign currency, making Uzbekistan an attractive location for establishing an export-oriented back office.
This autumn, Haulmont plans to launch a significant outsourcing office in Uzbekistan. The decision is fueled by the outstanding performance of several Uzbek IT specialists currently employed by the company, inspiring Haulmont to recruit more local talent for their new office.
Haulmont has previously held a series of consultations with IT Park representatives to explore tax incentives and business opportunities in Uzbekistan.
This collaboration with Haulmont is expected to bring substantial benefits to Uzbekistan, including the creation of new job opportunities for local IT professionals, which will enhance employment rates and skill development. Additionally, the establishment of an export-oriented back office will strengthen Uzbekistan's position in the global IT services market, boosting the country's export potential and foreign currency earnings. This partnership marks a significant step towards Uzbekistan's digital transformation and economic growth.
