The SAP International Ideathon Central Asia 2022 was held at Inha University in Tashkent from 9 to 11 September. The event was organised by Inha University and SAP with the support of SAP University Alliance and IT Park.
The Ideathon is an idea competition where participants come up with project ideas on a given topic and then present them to a jury and receive feedback.
The task of Ideaton participants was to develop a platform or guide for the development of technological entrepreneurship, as well as small and large IT businesses in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The participants of the event were students from Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, etc. So, eight teams of 3-5 people from different universities presented their results to expert jury – representatives of IT Park, SAP, EY, EPAM, AGMC and IUT.
The three-day marathon gave the participants the opportunity to work in liaison with global and local experts, get involved in the problems of technological entrepreneurship and learn about SAP platform solutions. Also, representatives of SAP and SAP University Alliance at International Ideathon Central Asia 2022 familiarised students with Stanford's Design Thinking methodology.
