Business tour to USA for IT community of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
Kyrgyz Software and Services Developers Association (CARPOU) in cooperation with Business Tours for Central Asia (BTCA) plans to conduct one of the largest IT forums in New York City, aimed at developing of IT sector in Central Asia and providing an opportunity for direct negotiations with IT companies from the USA on outsourcing.
During the trip, there will be opportunities for group and individual B2B meetings, and visits with representatives of leading IT companies in Silicon Valley (Google, Meta, Amazon, Cisco, etc).
When: August 29 to September 4, 2022 (New York, San Francisco and San Jose)
The purpose of the trip is to bring together on one platform people, whose decisions determine the vectors of telecom and IT industry development in Central Asia.
In order to participate, you should have an IT proposal for potential partners in the US, case studies and experience of working with foreign orders and fluency in English.

Terricon Valley Accelerator in Kazakhstan in the field of industrial technologies
The Terricon Valley Accelerator is a program for entrepreneurs to scale up their business and increase profits. Over the course of eight weeks, participants will learn logistics, management and marketing skills, work with mentors and consult with experts.
The project partner is Tech Garden, an autonomous cluster fund that is dedicated to creating an ecosystem to support industrial enterprises on their digital journey.
The programme is suitable for residents of Kazakhstan or start-ups from other countries that want to scale their projects to the Kazakhstan market. If so, they will need to open a sole proprietorship/too in Kazakhstan upon completion of the acceleration program.
The Accelerator programme will include workshops on topics such as Lean Startup, HADI cycles, Customer Development, and Market and Competitor Analysis.
Each team will present the results of their work on a demo day in the finals. Representatives of Yandex Cloud will be among the judges of the programme. It's they who will select the best projects and award grants for further development of your business.

AWS FinTech Accelerator for fintech startups considering the European market
AWS FinTech Accelerator was launched by Amazon Web Services to support the growth of high-potential start-ups in the fintech industry.
Early-stage FinTech start-ups can apply: pre-seed, seed and Series A, developing innovative solutions in the UK and Ireland (or teams aiming to work in those countries).
During the 6-week acceleration programme, selected startups will receive comprehensive technology, business and fundraising support of up to $100,000 in AWS Activate Credits, access to leading venture capital funds, industry experts and free tools to accelerate their business growth.
The initiative is supported by Vestbee, one of Europe's largest startup platforms, venture capital funds, accelerators and corporates, selected fintech experts and investors from leading companies including Sequoia Capital, HSBC, Anthemis, Breega, GFC, Mouro Capital, DN Capital, Dawn Capital, Outwards, Blackfin Capital Partners, Augmentum, Eight Roads, Finch Capital, Burda Principal Investments or EBRD Venture Capital.
Eligible applicants must submit their applications to the AWS FinTech Accelerator here through the Vestbee platform by 22 July 2022. The accelerator programme will start in September and will end with a demonstration day on 27 October.

TechX Clean Energy Accelerator for eco start-ups considering the European market
The TechX Clean Energy Accelerator Program aims to accelerate start-ups with clear potential to significantly accelerate the transition to affordable, zero-energy.
A start-up participating in the programme can receive a grant of up to £100,000 and expert support from implementing partners and mentors.
The TechX Clean Energy Accelerator is a 15-week intensive full-time programme. At least one founder must be available full-time for 15 weeks to take part in the programme.
Start-ups based outside the UK must be able to clearly explain how they plan to benefit the economy of North East Scotland and the UK. They need to register a company in the UK before starting the programme.
Format: combined. The start-up is expected to be able to be present in Aberdeen, the UK for at least the first, last week and the middle of the programme.
When: 27 February 2023 – 9 June 2023.

MIH x Techstars accelerator for electric vehicle startups
The MIH consortium is creating an open electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem to foster collaboration in the mobility industry. Its mission is to implement key technologies and bridge gaps for alliance members, resulting in lower barriers to entry, faster innovation and shorter development cycles.
MIH, in cooperation with Techstars, is inviting start-ups working in the following areas to participate in the acceleration programme: electric powertrain systems, battery and energy management, weight-loss technologies, automotive semiconductors, automotive system software and digital twins, and autonomous driving.
Based on the results, 10 teams will be selected to participate in the final demonstration day in Taipei, travel to which will be paid for the organisers.
The top 3 teams will be selected to receive the following bonuses:
— MIH Contributor membership (valued at $10,000) for 1 year
— Opportunity to co-market with MIH
— Opportunity to conduct a trial concept project
— 1 on 1 with the Foxconn team to discuss investment opportunities.
