MyVentures launched at the end of December last year. The fund was founded with the aim of investing in Kazakh and foreign startups.
"MyVentures aims to develop a culture of venture funding in Kazakhstan in line with international standards in the IT industry. We offer startups not only investments but are also ready to share our expertise and provide comprehensive support," says Shahboz Rakhmanov, CEO of MyVentures.
He also added that the fund plans to cooperate with leading Kazakhstani and international venture investors and development institutions.
MyVentures is interested in the support of technology projects which introduce innovations for the digital transformation of various sectors of the economy. In particular, these are FinTech, MedTech, E-commerce, and corporate software based on AI. At the same time, the fund is also considering other promising areas.
In June, MyVentures invested in the artificial intelligence startup Solai. The investment amounted to 275,000 dollars.
Shakhboz Rakhmanov also participated as an expert in Startup KPIS Day on 7 July, held by the Startup Central Eurasia platform.
